I received one of these as a Christmas present. I have to say that the kettle is now redundant in the cupboard, although I have still kept it in the event that I need to boil a large amount of water for cooking.
The product is excellent. This model has a variable slider on the top of it which you adjust to ensure the correct amount of water is dispensed into your mug and still leave room for milk. The amount of water dispensed can range from a small tea cup to a large coffee mug.
Once you have set it up and filled up the reservoir, there is a button on the top of the unit that you press and stand back and wait. Within about 30 seconds it dispenses the exact amount of water into your mug. The water is boiling hot.
This item is clearly a money saver in relation to the amount of electricity it uses. If you need a second mug filling it only takes another 30 seconds.
I am more than happy with this unit and I am delighted with the way it works. If, like me, you live alone it is perfect for boiling individual mugs of water without the hassle of filling a kettle.
